Aerial Bombardments Continue In Kauda South Kordofan
1 July 2011—(Kauda) — The head of police in Kauda county, southern Kordofan said that a Sudan Armed Force airplane bombed the Kauda hospital on Thursday killing civilians including an expectant mother.
In an interview with Sudan Radio Service on Friday from Kauda, Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim described the incident.
[Mohammed Ibrahim]: “Right now there is severe hunger. The airport is not operating because if there is any movement (SAF) will come and bomb the place. If you see the airport it’s been destroyed. Even the hospital is not operating. All the medications got finished and yesterday the airplane came and bomb the Hospital here killing civilians and a 9 month expectant mother who was about to give birth chopping off her head.”
The SPLM and the NCP on Tuesday signed a frame work agreement, in an attempt to resolve their differences and find a lasting peace in Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile states.
