New Commissioner Of Wulu County Appointed
25 February 2011 – (Wulu) – The governor of Lakes state, Chol Tong Mayay has appointed Ezekiel Thiang Mangar as the new commissioner of Wulu county after the dismissal of Gideon Shilur Mbele last week.
Speaking during the swearing in ceremony of the new commissioner on Tuesday in Wulu, governor Chol said that the former commissioner was dismissed last week due to non-performance.
[Chol Tong]: “In fact this abstract change came of course as a result of non performances of previous commissioner which prompted me to replace him and that what brought Thiang to be replaced and this time community of wulu I gave the responsibility to them select some one they think that is more competent or preferable candidate that will lead wulu and they have done so and this appointment is in consultation with the community.’’
The newly appointed commissioner of Wulu County, Ezekiel Thiang says that his first priority is to improve security between wulu residents and the neighboring communities.
[Ezekiel Thiang]: “Security and Stability that is the main focus of priority because with security every thing is possible. This is to let the community to work freely. At the moment we have no barriers to movement we have been hiding in those bushes why not this time we come and utilize the bush for the benefit of generation to come and to support me. The second priority is peace and unity among our people in lakes state and beyond lakes state.’’
That was the new commissioner of Wulu County, Ezekiel Thiang Mangar, speaking during his swearing in ceremony in Wulu on Tuesday.
