Setting Up The New Nation Will Be A challange Says Speaker

9th March 2011 – (Bentiu) -The speaker of Unity state Legislative Assembly says building of the new nation with local resources is the greatest challenge south Sudan will face.

Addressing parliamentarians during the second session in Bentiu on Friday, Peter Maguek said that southerners must be united in order to build the new nation.

[Peter Maguek] “We are left with few challenges. One of these is how to set up our new-born nation using our local resources. This needs our unity as people of south Sudan. Our unity as people of south Sudan should be unshaken by the interest of the individuals. It should be dynamic.”

That was the speaker of Unity state legislative assembly speaker, Peter Maguek speaking on Friday.
