SPLM-DC Senior Official Defects to SPLM

16 July 2010 - (Khartoum) – The former deputy chairman of the SPLM-DC Charles Babiro Kisanga has defected to the SPLM on Friday.

Speaking to Sudan Radio Service from Khartoum the new elected secretary general for SPLM-DC Sandra Bona Malwal confirmed the defection.

[Sandra Bona Malwal]: “Yeah it is true. He left for Juba this morning. Actually we will give detailed information later on because we are also going to hold a press conference that’s why we are in the meeting.”

Sudan Radio Services also got hold of Mr. Charles Kisanga and this is what he had to say about the claims.

[Charles Kisanga]: “I cannot comment on this claim now. I will make a press release later today if there are such claims then I will explain it in the press release.”
