Sudan has qualified for the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship after beating Niger 4-3 on penalties.

Sudan will now face the winner of Saturday's game between Cameroon and Angola.
In Friday's earlier kick-off, Algeria beat South Africa 2-0 to qualify for the semi-final.

Goals from Maiza Adel and Hocine Metref late in each half helped the Desert Foxes to the win in Khartoum.

Algeria will return to the venue in Khartoum on Tuesday for the semi-final showdown.
