Angola will be going to the finals of the African Nations championships after defeating Sudan on penalties on Tuesday.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes and an added extra time proceeded to penalty shoot out with Angola wining 4-2.

Sudan's Saifeldin Ali Idris gave them the lead at the end of the first half but with 20 minutes to go Angola's Arsenio Cabungula leveled the score.

Sudan's captain was sent off late in the game after head butting one Angolan opponent and punching another.

With Angola wining the shoot-out 4-2 they will face Tunisia in the final on the 25th February.
